Our work
We find, fund and support, sustainable cross sector partnerships in education where they can demonstrate a meaningful benefit for all those involved. In order to do that we:
- Fundraise
- Support new ideas on how to foster social mobility through education
- Award grants and mentor successful applicants if that is useful
- Match-fund existing partnership initiatives
- Share our expertise with schools setting up partnerships
- Build relationships with interested external organisations
Aims for The HMCK Charity
We work with schools who share our commitment to ensuring that all those involved can benefit from cross-sector partnerships. Our aims include:
- Encouraging new ideas on how to foster social mobility through education
- Working with higher education establishments to increase access to their activities and facilities
- Establishing an HMCK award to recognise exceptional achievement by schools in the partnership arena
- Fundraising
- Awarding grants and mentoring project leaders
- Liaising with interested external organisations
- Match-funding existing partnership initiatives
- Sharing our expertise with schools setting up partnerships
